If you have a passion for cooking or are interested in contributing to the Classic Cooking workflow, feel free to get in contact with us! Anyone with a solid skillset, an accommodating schedule, and an ambitious drive is welcome to join our staff and contribute to our classes and events. Depending on our current situation, we typically have openings for the following positions:

  • Lead Chef Instructors – The leaders and faces of our business. Chef instructors are responsible for leading, supervising, and executing individual cooking classes and events. Their biggest responsibilities are overseeing the preparation for a class/event, assigning specific roles to the kitchen assistants, giving lectures for hands-on cooking classes, managing all activity in the kitchen, leading plating and serving, and delegating clean-up roles.
  • Kitchen Assistants – The backbone of our classes and events. Kitchen assistants are the right-hand of the lead chef instructor. Their primary duties are helping set up both the kitchen and dining room, guiding guests throughout their event, assisting in plating and serving courses, providing beverages to guests, and helping with EOD clean-up.
  • Weekend Facility Manager – The director of our facilities. Depending on our weekend and even summer schedules, we may need an additional facility manager to help alongside the rest of the staff. Their responsibilities include (but are not limited to) washing and drying dishes, cleaning countertops, sweeping and mopping floors, and attending to any other unforeseen issues. 

All positions are paid proportional to industry standards and include additional tips, bonuses, and complimentary meals. Our executive staff also makes sure not to overburden anyone’s work schedule or demand last minute work shifts unless an emergency demands it.
