Pastry Class – Savory Tarts

Explore the savory side of tarts! Chef Instructor Sharon Lunardi will showcase a variety of savory tart preparations using classic puff pastry and mouth-watering fillings. These tarts are versatile and can serve as appetizers or accompaniments to salads and entrées. This pastry class is open to anyone with a basic level of cooking knowledge and experience.

Herbed Goat Cheese & Mushroom Tart on Mixed Greens w/Dijon Mustard Vinaigrette
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Pastry Classes are held on select Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and include all ingredients, wine, soda and water. Attendees must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol.
- Class is limited to 16 students. Reservations are based on First Come-First Serve basis. Call (480) 502-0177 or write Info@CCAcademy.edu to register.
- $100 per person. Call to inquire about seasonal discounts. Cancellation must be made 72 hours in advance of course time.
- Class begins with a complete demonstration and discussion by the Chef Instructor. Participants will not be making puff pastry but working with a product much like what can be purchased and is readily available in most grocery stores in the frozen section. Teams of two will work on creating two different tarts. At the end of the class, participants will sit down and enjoy a light lunch sampling the tarts with a mixed green salad and beverage of choice; coffee, wine, soda, or sparkling water
- Gratuity is not included in the per-person fee. If you kindly wish to leave a tip, it will be split among all staff including the Chef Instructor, Server, Assistant and Dishwasher.
- Please wear closed toe shoes and tie back all long hair.
