Pastry Class – Chocolate Desserts

Calling all chocolate lovers!  In this hands-on pastry class, learn the basics of making profiteroles (used for cream puffs and éclairs) along with taking the mystery out of making a chocolate sauce.  Chef Instructor Sharon Lunardi will also teach you how to make a versatile dough that will become the shell for a decadent chocolate tart.  This class is open to beginning bakers with limited cooking knowledge and experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Pastry Classes are held on select Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and include all ingredients, coffee, champagne and water. Attendees must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol.
  • Class is limited to 16 students.  Reservations are based on First Come-First Serve basis.  Call (480) 502-0177 or write Info@CCAcademy.edu to register.
  • $100 per person.  Call to inquire about seasonal discounts. Cancellation must be made 72 hours in advance of course time.
  • Class begins with a complete demonstration and discussion by the Chef Instructor.  Presentation and plating will take place at the end of class.  Class participants will enjoy their Profiteroles with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce along with a slice of Chocolate Tart served with coffee and a glass of champagne.
  • Gratuity is not included in the per-person fee.  If you kindly wish to leave a tip, it will be split among all staff including the Chef Instructor, Server, Assistant and Dishwasher.
  • Please wear closed toe shoes and tie back all long hair.
