Pâte à Choux and Cream Puffs

6-WEEK SESSION BEGINS OCTOBER 21ST AND RUNS THROUGH DECEMBER 9TH.  CLASSES WILL NOT BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 11TH OR 25TH!
Discover if you have a passion for baking or just a sweet tooth!  In this first part of a two series session you will learn the terms and basic techniques for baking.  Find out what it is like working in a professional kitchen with a chef and how baking is a science!  Become familiar with the tools and equipment used by professional bakers!  You will make doughs, cakes and soufflés; it’s all about the eggs! Available to ages 12+.

More Info:

  • Junior Baking Series 1 is a pre-requisite for Junior Baking Series 2.  Students must take the first series in order to be eligible for the second series, which will be offered in Spring 2020.
  • Junior Baking Classes are held on Mondays, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., and include all supplies, ingredients and beverages.
  • $330 for 6-week series, or $55 per individual class.  Class is limited to 16 students.  Reservations are based on First Come-First Serve basis.  Call (480) 502-0177 or email Info@CCAcademy.edu to register.  Cancellation must be made 72 hours in advance of course time for fee refund.
  • Classes WILL NOT be held on School Holidays.  Please check the website calendar to view the scheduled classes
  • A MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION FORM must be on file for each student.
  • Menus vary each class.  Students will be treated to an informational lecture and Chef demonstration before preparing the items outlined in the class description.  A copy of the recipes will be available to take home.
  • Students MUST wear close-toed shoes and tie back long hair as per Arizona health code.
